United States of Running – Founding Ambassador Program Rules & Guidelines

Overview

The United States of Running Founding Ambassador Program is designed to help grow and support the 50-state running community through authentic engagement, creativity, and positive representation of the brand.

Our ambassadors are early supporters helping shape the future of the app and community. We’re looking for runners who genuinely enjoy connecting with others, sharing their journey, and helping spread awareness of the 50-state challenge movement.

This is intended to be a fun, community-driven program — not a sales job.

Ambassador Expectations

As a Founding Ambassador, we ask that you:

  • Represent United States of Running positively and professionally

  • Share the app and community authentically

  • Follow the rules of any online groups, races, events, or communities you participate in

  • Avoid spammy, repetitive, or misleading promotion

  • Be respectful toward race organizations, running clubs, event staff, and online communities

  • Communicate honestly about the app and its current features

We encourage creativity and personal storytelling. The best ambassadors are runners sharing their own journey and experiences naturally.

Promotion Guidelines

Ambassadors may share:

  • Personal QR codes

  • Referral links

  • Social media posts

  • Race photos and experiences

  • App screenshots and graphics

  • Running journey updates

  • Conversations with other runners

However, ambassadors may NOT:

  • Spam Facebook groups, forums, or communities

  • Ignore or violate group rules

  • Misrepresent themselves as employees of United States of Running

  • Make false claims about the app or future features

  • Use deceptive or misleading marketing tactics

  • Harass or pressure others to sign up

  • Purchase fake traffic, fake followers, or fake signups

We reserve the right to determine what qualifies as inappropriate promotion.

Social Media & Disclosure Guidance

If promoting the app publicly, ambassadors should clearly indicate their connection to United States of Running when appropriate.

Examples may include:

  • “US of Running Ambassador”

  • “Founding Ambassador”

  • “Partnering with United States of Running”

  • “Helping beta test/build United States of Running”

Authenticity and transparency are important to our community.

Referral Tracking

Each ambassador may receive a unique QR code or referral link for tracking purposes.

Qualified referrals may include:

  • Valid email signups

  • Valid beta registrations

  • Other approved actions as determined by United States of Running

United States of Running reserves the right to review and validate all referrals before determining contest standings or rewards.

Fraud & Invalid Entries

The following may result in referrals being removed or disqualified:

  • Fake email addresses

  • Duplicate signups

  • Self-referrals

  • Temporary/disposable email services

  • Automated or bot-generated activity

  • Purchased traffic or signups

  • Misleading or deceptive promotion

  • Any attempt to manipulate contest results

All decisions regarding referral validity are final.

Contest & Rewards

The Founding Ambassador contest will run during the announced promotional period.

At the end of the contest:

  • Top-performing ambassadors may receive prizes or recognition

  • Prize details, eligibility, and timing will be announced separately

  • United States of Running reserves the right to modify, pause, or end the contest if necessary

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash unless otherwise stated.

Ambassador Status & Removal

Participation in the Founding Ambassador Program may be revoked at any time at the sole discretion of United States of Running.

Reasons may include:

  • Violation of these guidelines

  • Inappropriate or harmful conduct

  • Brand misrepresentation

  • Harassment or toxic behavior

  • Spam complaints

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Inactivity or lack of participation

We want this program to remain positive, community-focused, and aligned with the spirit of the running community.

Program Changes

Because United States of Running is an early-stage and evolving platform, program details may change over time.

We may update:

  • Contest structures

  • Rewards

  • Referral rules

  • Ambassador expectations

  • Program availability

  • Eligibility requirements

Continued participation in the program indicates acceptance of any updated guidelines.

Final Note

We’re building something meant to celebrate the long-term journey of runners pursuing races across all 50 states.

Thank you for helping us grow the community and shape what United States of Running becomes. I
